rifle hunting
EQUIPMENT: African animals are really tough and need a well placed shot.
We prefer .30 calibre and bigger with a premium bullet that suites you Rifle, preferable 150gr and heavier.
By law in South Africa any dangerous game must be hunted with a .375 calibre or bigger.
Please contact us for other options and suggestions on rifles for women and children and that suites the animals you are going to hunt.
HOW THE HUNT WORKS:
Hunting will take place in 2 session per day
- Mornings 6:30 / 7:00 till 11:00 / 12:00
- Afternoons 15:00 / 15:30 till dark
To get the best of your once in a lifetime dream hunt we rifle hunt mainly on foot by way of spot and stalk , we make use of tri-or bi-pod shooting sticks on these stalks.
We use well equipped hunting vehicles to travel and to cover the most ground in the shortest period of your valuable time in the African bush. As soon as a worthy trophy has been spotted and you and your Professional hunter has decided to harvest the specific trophy , a plan of action would be discussed with you and the stalk would begin. If the stalk was successful and the trophy was tracked and found, the following will happen:
- Client will be given time to appreciate his/her trophy
- The trophy will be cleaned of any blood and set up for top quality trophy pictures , to save that memory
- Animal will be loaded and taken to the skinning facilities
- Trophy will be skinned according to client's instruction
