I was really impressed with Roelof and Liebenberg Safaris. They are extremely professional and great hosts. Their team of PH’s are incredibly talented and fun! Personally, my biggest challenge of booking an international hunt was the fear of not getting what you paid for, or getting something different that what you expected. I can truthfully say that Roelof is very honest and transparent. He tells you exactly what you should expect from your hunt. I have had the privilege of going with Roelof and Liebenberg Safaris on 2 separate occasions. The first to South Africa for plains game, and the second more recently to Namibia for leopard and plains game. For our hunt in South Africa, there was an abundance of wildlife. Trophy quality was exceptional! We were a big group of 8 hunters, and the atmosphere and accommodations were perfect so that we could all enjoy our hunts and come back to the same place to spend some time together and talk about our experiences. In Namibia, it was a very different hunt. Our goal was a big leopard. I made it very clear to Roelof that that was our priority. They were able to get 3 big male leopards on baits in the 14 days we were scheduled to be there. We were successful in our hunt on day 7. After that, Roelof organized a sightseeing tour across Namibia so that my wife and I could get to know the country better. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back!
