Being a bow hunter myself , I know what is needed to harvest top quality trophies.

EQUIPMENT

With a fast , quiet compound bow/crossbow using sharp broadheads , most of the plains game animals can be harvested

HOW THE HUNT WORKS:

Bow hunting is mainly done from blinds , but for the more experienced hunters the spot and stalk method can also be used.

The following blinds are available in most of the bow hunting areas:

  • Pitt blinds
  • Ground blinds
  • Elevated blinds
  • Tree stands

Shot will range from 10yds – 30yds

These blinds are constantly monitored by trail cameras.

With bowhunting we will spend the whole day in the blind, lunch and cooler boxes with cold beverages will be packed and taken along to the blind.

If a trophy animal is harvested from a blind the following will happen:

  1. The professional hunter will radio the tracker that will come to the blind
  2. The trophy will be tracked ,if the hunt was successful
  3. The client will be given time to appreciate his/her trophy
  4. The trophy will be cleaned of any blood and set up for top quality trophy pictures , to save that memory
  5. Animal will be loaded and taken to the skinning facilities
  6. The hunter and professional hunter will get back into the blind
  7. Trophy will be skinned according to client’s instruction upon arrival at the skinning shed
